Wastelands

"Angel boy! gonna need your help getting the freak's out of the sewer, there's no ladder to go back up, you'll need to fly 'em up." said Kroft, in a rushed mood, then saying "Don't worry, gonna take care of the guards for ya, just give me the signal that your ready, okay?".

Damien heard Kroft's commands, and raised a hand in question. "I can help as well, I've seen the route out many times over, and there are a few thin edges on the route up, as well as some spots you might be able to put rivets or something in to make a make-shift ladder..." he offered a bit shyly, still yanking away at the metal collar still strapped around his neck.

Nino heard the plan and nodded, saying "I'm ready anytime you are" He got into the air, ready to rush to the sewers.

"Okay, Angel boy, follow the Spinning freak to an exit point, and I'll take care of the guards, ready, GO!" said Kroft, then dashing at the security, but not with his gun, but with his left arm (with spikes) aimed at them, then while charging, the security started to draw fire at Kroft, breaking a few spines, and grazing his skin, leaving open flesh wounds. Kroft charged faster and faster at the guards, so fast, that he started to go blood thirsty, snapping off two of his spikes, and using them as makeshift swords, impaling the guards, and one after another, the guards were dead, or so Kroft thought...

Nino made a break for an exit deftly avoiding any guard not busy with the spiked one.

Damien conserved his ammunition, avoiding stray gunfire by utilizing his parkour skills on the wall nearby.

Soon enough he found the exit, and several of the circus freaks at the base. He shouldered through them, "Let me through, I'll see if there's a ladder at the top..." he muttered. He took a running start at the wall, gripping onto a thin ledge with his arms about ten feet off the ground, then began to scale it like a rock wall, careful not to fall into the horde beneath him...

Nino followed the spinning one, flying to the top. When he got there he sighed "Well, it's ladder... I think"

As Kroft turned around after the bloodshed, he found one final guard, at gunpoint with him. "Well, are you going to shoot? If so, you better not miss..." Kroft said to the final guard, staring him in the face, and then, the guard said "If I don't shoot, will you let me go?". Kroft replied "only if you put the gun down, right now, otherwise, I will kill you". Getting into a position to take the guard down, Kroft shift's his leg behind him, and his left arm in front, facing the final guard. "So what will it be? life or death?" said Kroft, hoping the option was death. The guard said "I'm not letting go of this gun!", "just what I wanted" said Kroft, charging at the guard, soon Impaling the guard, the innards falling to the floor, half-digested food falling out of the ripped open stomach. Kroft then raided the dead guard for ammo and anything else, he left with 50 caps and 20 pistol rounds for a Glock 40.

Damien reached the top soon enough, moving out of the way to let Angel past. He called down to the spiked one, "There's not exactly a ladder here! Use your spikes to help the others up!"

He sighed, "Never thought this would be how I got out...I always pictured a bobby pin and snapping necks..." he muttered.

"okay then" said Kroft, breaking the spikes off of his left arm, and stabbing it into the concrete, in the shape of a makeshift ladder. then continued to climb up it. "Lets go guys!" said Kroft.

Nino watched for anyone that seemed like they were headed here. In case there was another fight in the near future.

Damien watched as circus freak after circus freak made their way out of the sewers and into the wastelands, hoping that they might find a place who wouldn't kill them for their appearance. He saw the snake-like one exit the sewer, and yanked him from the crowd. "Good to see you made it out," he spoke to the snake, "I had almost thought we had left you behind..."

(Piggy-backing him out of impatience...)

"Lets keep moving! we don't want to get attacked by the remainder of the government do we?" said Kroft, moving towards an old convenience store that he spruced up himself. Kroft unlocked the door and opened it. Luckily Kroft's 'house' was not far from the old circus, making the walk a dream. Kroft invited the three circus freak's into his 'home' with a hand motion, then saying "I know it ain't much, but it's safe enough. I have plenty of food here, so we'll be good for a while, same goes for ammo and drinks. I'll show you each your room's, unfortunately, one of you will have to share one, I only got three, and I don't think anyone want's to sleep with me and my spikes at night..." Kroft said, continuing to ramble on about his house and where they sleep. "So, any questions?" Kroft said, waiting a bit for the people to say something.

(I am okay with you piggybacking him for a little while, but don't go too far, if he doesn't respond next week, I'm killing off his character, can't have a space waster, now can we?)

Nino stayed quiet, unsure of what to think of the situation. He simply decided that if the grabbed him he would join, and if not he would leave.

"Hey! Angel boy! I said the three of you! you wanna come inside or what?" said Kroft, waiting for angel boy.

Damien stepped in, happy to breathe something other than sewer air or methane. He placed his gun on a table nearby, and immediately began to search the cabinets for some sort of food. The Ringleader hadn't exactly kept him in good condition, It makes you more aerodynamic to see your ribs! the ringleader would say to him. Finding some old cashews, he began to prepare to gorge himself on the food. Not entirely forgetting his manners, he held out the opened box, "Anyone else want a few of these before I annihilate them?"

"It's okay, I got some fresh fish downstairs, anyone up for some cooked or uncooked fish? I got plenty!" said Kroft, walking towards the cellar door.

Nino slowly went inside. Everything happened so fast, and he had no idea what these people wanted.

Damien almost dropped his packet of cashews, "I would KILL for some uncooked fish!" he replied, eyes wide.

"Well, it's downstairs, but don't pig out on it, I don't want to go scavangeing any time soon..." Kroft said, pointing to the cellar, then continuing his sentance "... and I have some beef and pork as well, but that stuff is for me, I love pork and beef, also I have some fruit, go ahead and help yourself to some, not like I'll be eating it any time soon!".

Damien rushed into the cellar, searching for what the spiked one described. First container was pork, he left that be. Second container was more pork, he left it. Third container was the uncooked fish, and immediately Damien took one and gorged himself on it, finding the taste a bit strange, yet oddly good. He thought back to his life before the nukes went off...

He had always liked salmon and other fish, but could never stomach it uncooked. Then suddenly after his eyes changed and he grew the protrusion on his spine, he couldn't stomach the cooked fish, but delighted in the uncooked stuff. Odd... he thought.

"Well now, what about you angel boy? want some food? maybe a rest? We're safe here" Kroft said to Nino, waiting for a response.

“Thanks man i'm starving” Fisk said, heading after damien to get some food.

"Did I ask you snake boy?" said Kroft, still waiting for a response from Nino.
(fuck that, be sure to get on more in the early morning to keep up dude.

Nino thought for a moment before heading to the basement. Fruit didn't sound too bad at the moment. He found a small grape vine and started eating.
