Illusions of power

Welcome to Ironfort, the one place on earth where it is safe to use "powers" without worry. If you like, we can show you around Ironfort, so you can see the sights and hear the sounds, and try the metals, to decide to stay or not.

that's right, a Bioshock rp, so sit back, make your character wraith, and join in on the fun that is Ironfort!

Ironfort is about 50 years old, made in the 1960's, and the population is afflicted with an insanity of sorts, so if they find someone unfamiliar, they will try to kill you on sight, but that's not all, they have "powers" of sorts, but the "powers" they use are caused by bracer's that stab a unique type of metal that once in contact with the blood flow, temporarily twist your DNA until you can use these "powers" at your command just by flexing your wrist, but when you enter Ironfort, insane patrons aren't the only ones you have to worry about, you have to worry about security bots known as "clay giants" who are the ones who mine and give out the metal's to the Ironfort patrons, but beware, some of them don't play nice with other's, because they aren't what you think they are, you'll know what I mean later on.

Locations within Ironfort:
Outer City - the first place everyone starts, easy insane and no defect clay giants that will attack you. Very few metal despencers here, but as you get deeper in the city, the more will be found, but the more danger there is as well.
Inner City - plenty of metal despencers here, but the same goes for the insane and defect clay giants. If your gonna survive here, you have to kill everything you see.
Citi-rail stations - Transport all around Ironfort, auto drive, so noone is needed to drive the tram from area to area.
the tower - leader of the city runs and lives here, the leader gave up years ago, but just may be able to help.

standard rp rules apply here, minus certain godmods, because of the powers that are avalable to the public. Have Fun!!!

Crik wandered around the outer city, looking for something to help his starvation, but alas, no luck so far, when he heard something coming from the tram that goes to the surface, Crik ran to the surface tram on the edge of Ironfort, looking for the sound, then running tewards the sound as it got louder, but when he found the source, it wasn't the tram, no, it was a clay giant, dropping off some metal at the dispencer.

Weasel sighed quietly as he wandered around the Outer City. He had a secret safe house deep in the Inner City but just had to get some metal for extra security.


He slipped passed a few other wanderers and hid behind a wall.

As Crik wandered the outer city, he saw someone else, it was a crazy! and it was going towards the metal, wanting power against the clay giant. Crik ran over to the crazy and punched his temple, temporarily stunning him, Crik then proceeded to beat the crazy into an unconscious state. Crik then started to search the crazy picking up $5 and a wrench, keeping the things he found, he then ran away. Crik then hearing something else, prepared the freshly looted wrench just in case it was another crazy...

The Enigma moved calmly through the outer city streets, not caring what ran past him. A crazy soon made the mistake of attacking him, and while the Enigma took a lead pipe to the shoulder, he deftly grabbed his blade from it's sheath, uppercutted the man, and cut the man across the neck, watching as it fell to the ground. The Enigma didn't bother raiding it, he could already tell he didn't much need the man's weaponry...

Weasel heard another being behind the wall. The sound of a fight not making him eager to leave his spot any time soon. He listened closely to see if he could hear the telltale chatter of craziness.

"Is anyone there?" yelled Crik, walking slowly through the hallway, Crik thought that he was finally crazy when he started hearing footsteps, but not seeing anyone. "Hello?" Crik yelled again, waiting for a response...

Weasel sighed when he heard a voice calling out for anyone rather than a name. He called back "I'm Weasel. Who're you?"

"My name is Crik, nice to meet you, just one thing, do you have metal?" said Crik, looking for weasel.

The Enigma heard speech up ahead, and it didn't sound like the mindless rabble of a crazy. He performed a few movements, until he was atop a low wall not far from the speakers. He was in full view, but he cared fairly little, he was ready with a bit of metal and with his blade. So long as they didn't have a gun, he was certain of his survival.

Weasel scratched the back of his neck as he replied "No... I've been scavenging for some" He got out of his hiding spot slowly, hands in the air, and continued "listen... I don't attack you... you don't attack me... deal?"

"Well I say we have a deal, nice to meet you!" Crik said, putting away his wrench, but still being cautious.

The Enigma looked down upon the two with a curious look upon his visage. He squinted his eyes, never before seeing people of Ironfort surrender to others. He overheard their conversation, and checked his pockets, finding probably two pieces of metal. "Hey," he called to them, not caring if he startled them, "If you're in desperate need of metal, I can do without some metal for a while," he held out the metal in front of him, "But we'll have to settle a deal before I just hand this over to you..."

"I'm willing to hear what you have to say, what's the deal?" said Crik, looking for the enigma

Weasel listened for the new guy to talk again. Seeing as he couldn't very well run if he didn't know where to run away from.

The Enigma cracked his neck, "I'll give you the metal, you'll allow me to venture alongside you, taking my fair share of whatever we take...simple enough, is it not" he almost laughed.

"Well now, that seem's more than fair, I accept, but what about you weasel? Do you accept?" said Crik, looking towards weasel.

The Enigma held up a hand, before Weasel could speak. "Wait, one more thing worth mentioning. There is a russian female in this place who's placed a bounty on my head. As part of the deal, you will help me in my personal vendetta against her. After that is done, you may do as you please," he added.

(Yeah, he thinks of himself as mighty, but he's indeed flawed in combat...especially with gunfire)

"Well, I am pretty good at hitting things! Lets go for it!" Crik said, waiting for the enigma and weasel to agree or disagree.

Weasel tipped his hat up a bit and replied "haven't had a good fight in a while. Sounds exciting"

"Well then, lets go with haste, and get this she-witch out of the way, but we'll need better weapons..." said Crik, looking around for a decent weapon.

The Enigma shook his head, "I have all I need, arguement and reason..." he raised the arm holding his arm brace, "Here's arguement," then revealed his curved dagger, "And here's reason..."

"Well, all I have is a wrench, but I am pretty strong, I can smash open locks with wrenches, what about you weasel? what do you have?" said Crik, turning to the Weasel.
